With the trade deadline only a few weeks away lets take a look at some players who won’t cost contenders their top prospects.

1. Khris Davis

There are a surplus of teams looking for corner outfielders. Davis has 1yr $5 Million left on his current deal. Davis is slashing .245/.333/.519 with 26 HRs and 63 RBIs. Look for Davis to be a quality option on the market.

2. Jerry Blevins

Blevins has 1yr $6.5 Million left with a team option. If the left handers market is too high with Wilson and Hands asking price, Blevins would be a solid back up plan. Blevins has 29.1 IP, 3.34 ERA, 1.31 WHIP, 7.3 H9, 0.9 HR9, 4.6 BB9, and 12.7 SO9. Mets will be sellers at the deadline and Blevins will be a solid option for contenders to look at.

3. Eduardo Nunez

Nunez has 1yr $4.2 Million left on his current contract. Nunez is slashing .293/.318/.407 with 4 HRs 25 RBIs and 17 SBs. Nunez a quality utility player can play SS,2B,LF with 3B as his primary. Nunez brings depth to a club who can fill in many positions if injuries occur. Nunez would be a quality bat for a contenter who needs Speed and Flexibility.

4. Juan Nicasio

Nicasio has 1yr $3.6 Million left on his current contract. Nicasio has 42.1 IP, 2.55 ERA, 1.18 WHIP, 7.4 H9, 0.2 HR9, 3.4 BB9, 9.4 SO9, and 42.3 GB%. Nicasio having a career year with the Pirates is a solid righty with a nasty sinker. Contenders should be very intersted in Nicasio who would be big in groundball situations.

5. Trevor Cahill

Cahill has 1yr $1.8 Million left on his current contract. Cahill has 57.1 IP, 3.14 ERA, 1.23 WHIP, 8.0 H9, 0.9 HR9,  3.1 BB9, 11.1 SO9 and 56.8 GB%. Teams looking for a 5th starter down the stretch or a long man for the playoffs would be very interested in Cahill.
