The Philadelphia 76ers trailed by double digits in the first-half against the Miami Heat and by four at halftime. Philadelphia outscored Miami 74-43 in the second-half to win their first playoff game since 2012, 130-103.
Ben Simmons once again dictated the pace of the game for the Philadelphia 76ers. He scored 17 points grabbed nine rebounds and recorded 14 assists. Dario Saric scored 20 points and grabbed six rebounds. J.J. Redick led the 76ers with 28 points.
Marco Belinelli scored 25 points off the bench and Ersan Ilyasova scored 17 points off the bench for Philadelphia.
Goran Dragic scored 15 points grabbed five rebounds and recorded four assists for the Heat. James Johnson scored 13 points. Kelly Olynyk scored 26 points off the bench for Miami and he was their leading scorer. Dwyane Wade scored 11 points off the bench and Justice Winslow scored nine points grabbed seven rebounds and recorded five assists off the bench for the Heat.
Joel Embiid didn’t play for the Philadelphia 76ers. He has a pretty good chance to play in Game 2. Game 2 will be on Monday Night in Philadelphia.
