An Anthony Davis Trade to the Milwaukee Bucks Would Work

New Orleans Pelicans forward Anthony Davis requested a trade from the team the other day. The NBA Trade Deadline is on Thursday, February 7. A lot of teams are pursuing him, including the Los Angeles Lakers. The Boston Celtics can’t trade for him until July 1, unless Boston is willing to deal Kyrie Irving in that trade.

The Milwaukee Bucks would be a good suitor for Anthony Davis. He would go to Milwaukee for point guard Eric Bledsoe, small forward Khris Middleton, and power forward Thon Maker.

Bledsoe will be a free agent after this season and Middleton and Maker will be free agents after next season. Davis will be a free agent the year after. The Milwaukee Bucks would also trade away a couple of first-round picks.

Eric Bledsoe is 29 years old. He is averaging 15.7 PPG, 4.5 RPG, 5.4 APG, 0.4 BPG, and 1.4 SPG so far this season. Khris Middleton is averaging 17.4 PPG, 5.7 RPG, 4.1 APG, 0.1 BPG, and 1.1 SPG so far this season. He is 27 years old.

Thon Maker is 21 years old. He is averaging 4.7 PPG, 2.7 RPG, 0.5 APG, 0.5 BPG, and 0.3 SPG so far this season. Maker has a ton of potential.

Anthony Davis is 25 years old. He is averaging 29.3 PPG, 13.3 RPG, 4.4 APG, 2.6 BPG, and 1.7 SPG.

The Milwaukee Bucks record so far this season is 35-13 and they currently sit in first place in the Eastern Conference. According to the analysis on the ESPN Trade Machine, Milwaukee’s wins projection has increased by five wins.

The New Orleans Pelicans record so far this season is 22-28 and they currently sit in 13th place in the Western Conference. According to the analysis on the ESPN Trade Machine, New Orleans’s wins projection has decreased by five wins.
