Are you mad? 5 bold and practically insane NCAA predictions

There is a reason why its called March Madness. Nobody cant predict what is gonna happen this month in college basketball. That’s the reason we all love it. Lets take a look at some bold predictions for all this madness. No matter how crazy these are, they still have a better chance of happening than you filling out a perfect bracket.

  1. No ACC team in the Final Four

With the ACC being the conference with the most teams in the big dance. This prediction will be a tough one. Duke as a two seed is one of the favorites, yet they have a reputation for the last couple of years of getting upset. UNC has a tought road ahead with a potential match up with Michigan in the Sweet 16. Virginia will probably get the winner of a potential round 2 match up between Arizona and Kentucky. A dark house in the ACC is NC State but it will get tough for them quick if they get passed Seaton Hall, they will potentially meet with Kansas in round two.

  2. Purdue #2 get bounced in the first round

Purdue is a number two seed finishing the season 28-6. On paper Purdue makes a case for a very good #2 seed. The current number two seeds in the tournament include Duke, North Carolina, Cincinnati. We have seen a number two seed go down in the first round before. In 2013 Georgetown got out swaggered by Florida Gulf Coast. In 2012 Lehigh shocked Duke in the first round. So, if you are picking a #15 to upset a #2 this year. Purdue vs Cal State Fullerton is your pick.

  3. New Mexico State beats Kansas to make the Elite Eight

The Aggies are coming in hot into the tournament. Handling Grand Canyon University a convincing loss in the WAC tournament. The Aggies are making quite the buzz around the league and most analyst are picking them for the early upset over #5 Clemson. I am going a bit further and I have them making the Elite Eight, in a tough Midwest Region. Clemson and a potential match up with Auburn in the second round are both really winnable games for New Mexico State. I have them meeting Kansas in the Sweet 16. Most people would call it for the Aggies here, but my bold prediction is they beat Kansas and make the Elite Eight

  4. UCLA makes Sweet 16

UCLA just made the dance and is one of the first four. If they make the field of 64 teams. They will face a Florida team that finished 3rd in a not so impressive SEC conference. Florida finished 20-12. UCLA finished 5th in the Pac 12 yet still holds a better overall record than the Gators at 21-11. I see UCLA getting passed Florida and i got them facing Texas Tech in the second round. I believe Texas Tech game vs SF Austin wont be as easy as everybody thinks. UCLA gets the upset over Texas Tech.

  5. San Diego State beats Michigan and UNC back to back rounds

San Diego State is getting hot at the right time. Coming in with a 9 game winning streak. SD State believes in themselves and have been the artist of some few upsets before in the tournament. They start against an overrated six seed Houston team. After the victory they get rewarded with a potential match up with Michigan. Which i think they will get done and meet North Carolina in the Sweet 16.
