Brandon Knight and Marquese Chriss Traded to the Houston Rockets

The Houston Rockets acquired point guard Brandon Knight and power forward Marquese Chriss from the Phoenix Suns for forward Ryan Anderson and shooting guard De’Anthony Melton.

Knight missed all of last season with a Torn ACL. He is under contract for two more seasons and Brandon Knight is 26 years old. He averaged 11 PPG, 2.2 RPG, 2.4 APG, 0.1 BPG, and 0.5 SPG in 2016-2017 with the Phoenix Suns.

Chriss is just 21 years old and he is athletic and has a ton of potential. He averaged 7.7 PPG, 5.5 RPG, 1.2 APG, 1 BPG, and 0.7 SPG, in 72 games with the Phoenix Suns last season. He is under contract for another couple of seasons.

Ryan Anderson is 30 years old and he averaged 9.3 PPG, 5 RPG, 0.9 APG, 0.3 BPG, and 0.4 SPG , in 66 games last season with the Houston Rockets. Anderson is under contract for the next two years.

De’Anthony is just 20 years old and he was drafted in the second-round (46th overall) in the 2018 NBA Draft.

The Rockets improved their bench with this trade.
