Broncos Sink Raiders

After a 26-yard reception by Tim Patrick on a second-and-10 play late in the game, Brandon McManus made the game-winning 36-yard field goal for the Denver Broncos with six seconds remaining to lift them to a 20-19 win over the Oakland Raiders.

With the Oakland Raiders leading 6-0 in the second-quarter, Marshawn Lynch scored on a one-yard touchdown run (extra point was blocked). Lynch finished with 65 yards on 18 carries and one touchdown. He also caught two pass on three yards receiving.

Royce Freeman scored on a one-yard touchdown run in the third-quarter for the Denver Broncos. He finished with 28 yards rushing on eight carries and a score. Phillip Lindsay led the Broncos in rushing with 107 yards on 14 carries. He caught one pass for four yards receiving.

Seth Robers caught a 20-yard touchdown pass later in the third-quarter for the Oakland Raiders from Derek Carr. Roberts finished with three receptions for 43 yards receiving and a touchdown. Amari Cooper was the Oakland Raiders leading receiver with 10 catches for 116 yards receiving. Derek completed 29-of-32 passes for 288 yards and one touchdown.

With the Denver Broncos trailing 19-10 in the fourth-quarter, Case Keenum scored on a one-yard touchdown run on a fourth down play. Keenum completed 19-of-35 passes for 222 yards and one interception. He rushed for 16 yards on three carries and a score. Emmanuel Sanders was the Broncos leading receiver with four catches for 96 yards receiving.

The rest of the game was history. The Oakland Raiders (0-2) will go on the road to face the Miami Dolphins (2-0) next Sunday. The Denver Broncos (2-0) will go on the road to face the Baltimore Ravens (1-1) next Sunday.
