Bruins Knock Out Punch Maple Leafs Again

The Toronto Maple Leafs and the Boston Bruins would be playing each other once again in Game 7 at Boston. The Bruins have knocked them out of the playoffs the last two times in Game 7. This game would be no different as the Bruins dominated Toronto 5-1 in Game 7.

Joakim Nordstrom scored for Boston with 5:29 remaining in the first-period. Marcus Johansson scored with 2:14 remaining in the first-period.

John Tavares scored 3:54 into the second-period for the Maple Leafs, as he cut the deficit to 2-1.

In the third-period, Sean Kurlay for the Boston Bruins 2:40 in. They also scored two empty net goals by Charlie Coyle with 2:34 remaining in regulation and Patrice Bergeron with one second remaining in regulation.

Boston controlled the tempo and pace for most of this game.

Mike Babcock made questionable coaching decisions for the Toronto Maple Leafs. Toronto has been bounced in the first-round of the playoffs for the past three seasons and you wonder if they are going to make a change or not.

Frederik Andersen made 27 saves for the Maple Leafs.

Tuukka Rask made 32 saves for the Bruins. He made some big saves in the game.

The Boston Bruins will play against the Columbus Blue Jackets in the second-round of the playoffs. Game 1 for that series will begin most likely later this week.
