The Cubs could be after a good pitcher in Yu Darvish according to @jonmorosi at MLBN.
Morosi stated on Twitter that the Cubs “have inquired to Rangers on availability of Yu Darvish.” This year Darvish has pitched pretty well. Right now he sitting at a 3.45 ERA with a 6-8 record.
I do not know how much the Rangers are asking for Darvish, but I do assume that they will be asking a decent amount. Darvish will be a UFA after this year, so he would be a great rental for the Cubs as they make a playoff push.
