Before the Jacksonville Jaguars and the Dallas Cowboys game began, a lot of people thought the Jaguars defense was going to beat down a bad Cowboys offense all game long. The complete opposite happened as Dallas dominated Jacksonville 40-7.
With the Dallas Cowboys leading 3-0 in the first-quarter, Dak Prescott scored on a 17-yard touchdown run.
Prescott threw two touchdown passes to Cole Beasley in the second-quarter from 17 yards and nine yards out. Beasley finished with nine receptions for 101 yards and two touchdowns. Prescott completed 17-of-27 passes for 183 yards and two touchdowns. He also rushed for 82 yards on 11 carries and a score.
With the Jacksonville Jaguars trailing 24-0 in the third-quarter, Dede Westbrook scored on a 34-yard touchdown reception thrown by Blake Bortles. Bortles completed 15-of-26 passes for 149 yards one touchdown and one interception. He also rushed for 22 yards on four carries. Westbrook caught three passes for 38 yards receiving and a score.
Keelan Cole was Jacksonville’s leading receiver with four receptions for 41 yards receiving. T.J. Yeldon was the Jaguars leading rusher with 41 yards on eight carries. Leonard Fournette missed his second consecutive game with a hamstring injury.
With the Dallas Cowboys leading 30-7 in the fourth-quarter, Ezekiel Elliott scored on a 15-yard touchdown run. He finished with 106 yards rushing on 24 carries and a score. Elliott also caught one pass for 11 yards receiving.
The Jacksonville Jaguars (3-3) will host the Houston Texans (3-3) next Sunday. The Dallas Cowboys (3-3) will be on the road against the Washington Redskins (3-2) next Sunday.
