2017 saw the Milwaukee Bucks finish the regular season with a 42-40 record, the 6th seed in the Eastern Conference playoffs, and a youth movement behind Giannis Antetokounmpo trending in the right direction. Eight games into the 2017-2018 season the Bucks completed a trade sending 27 year old center Greg Monroe to the Phoenix Suns along with protected first and second round picks in exchange for dynamic point guard Eric Bledsoe. Adding a 20 point, 6 assist point guard with dynamic finishing ability will propel the Bucks into position to land a top 4 seed in the Eastern Conference. Both Malcolm Brogdon and Eric Bledsoe have the ability to play off the ball giving Jason Kidd the ability to show opposing teams many different looks. With Giannis entering his prime, Jabari Parker due to return from a torn ACL in February, and the addition of Eric Bledsoe the Milwaukee Bucks have given the NBA a legitimate reason to “Fear the Deer”.
