The Braves have announced that Freddie Freeman has been activated off of the DL and will be starting at third base. This is the first time he has played third base since Rookie-Level in 2007. He has just 57.1 innings at third base in his professional career. He will be put in at third base to allow for Matt Adams to remain as the first basemen. Hopefully, he can pull it off, being the athlete he is, I’d imagine he would be able to handle the transition fine. But, who knows?
