Jimmy Butler Sparks 76ers; Force Game 7

The Philadelphia 76ers were dismantled in Game 5 against the Toronto Raptors on the road and Philadelphia was on the brink heading back home for Game 6. Jimmy Butler set the tone for this team and he had a monster game with 25 points, six rebounds, eight assists, and two steals, in a 112-101 Game 6 win over Toronto.

The series is now tied at three games a piece. Butler shot 50 percent from the field as well and he got the home crowd into the game. Jimmy Butler has been by far the best players for the 76ers in this series.

This might have been Ben Simmons’s best game of the series so far with 21 points, eight rebounds, and six assists.

Joel Embiid scored 17 points, grabbed 12 rebounds, recorded one assist, blocked two shots, and recorded one steal.

Tobias Harris scored 16 points, grabbed nine rebounds, recorded five assists, and recorded one steal.

J.J. Reddick scored 11 points and he made three 3’s.

Philadelphia’s bench scored 22 points and Mike Scott scored 11 of them. He also grabbed four rebounds and recorded two assists.

The Philadelphia 76ers biggest lead in the game was 24 points. The Raptors biggest lead in the game was two points.

Once again for Toronto, Kawhi Leonard was the best player on the floor. He scored 29 points on 45 percent shooting from the field. Leonard also grabbed 12 rebounds, recorded five assists, and recorded one steal.

Pascal Siakam was the second best player on the floor for the Toronto Raptors in this game and this isn’t a new trend in this series. Siakam scored 21 points on 50 percent shooting. He also grabbed six rebounds, recorded three assists, and recorded two steals.

Kyle Lowry was average at best, but he could have done more in this game. Lowry need to be more effective in Game 7 if they want to advance to the Eastern Conference Finals.

He finished Game 6 with 13 points, five rebounds, six assists, and one steal.

Toronto’s bench scored 23 points. Serge Ibaka scored nine bench points and he also grabbed three rebounds, recorded one assist, and blocked one shot.

Game 7 of this series will be sometime on Sunday in Toronto. It is going to depend what happens in the Golden State Warriors and the Houston Rockets series in Game 6 on Friday night.
