Lakers Comeback to Beat Cavaliers in Lebron’s Return to Cleveland

Lebron James received a more warmed welcome this time to Cleveland as a member of the Los Angeles Lakers compared to last time as a member of the Miami Heat. James received a video tribute during the first-quarter. He scored 32 points, grabbed 14 points, and recorded seven assists in a Lakers 109-105 win over the Cavaliers.

Los Angeles was down by as many as nine points in the fourth-quarter. The Los Angeles Lakers finished the game on a 22-9 run. Kentavious Caldwell-Pope hit some key free throws down the stretch. He finished with 13 points and five rebounds.

JaVale McGee and Kyle Kuzma each scored 12 points and grabbed five rebounds. McGee blocked three shots and Kuzma blocked two shots. Brandon Ingram scored 14 points and Lonzo Ball scored 15 points, grabbed seven rebounds, and recorded six assists.

Cedi Osman led the Cleveland Cavaliers with 21 points and seven rebounds. Tristan Thompson recorded another double-double with 14 points and 15 rebounds. Collin Sexton scored 12 points, grabbed three rebounds, and recorded two assists.

Jordan Clarkson scored 20 points and recorded five assists off the bench for the Cavaliers. Larry Nance Jr. scored seven points and grabbed nine rebounds. Kyle Korver scored nine points and grabbed three rebounds.

These two teams will play each other one more time this season. The Los Angeles Lakers will host the Utah Jazz on Friday night. The Cleveland Cavaliers will be on the road against the Philadelphia 76ers on Friday night.
