Michael Thomas 2017 outlook

Micahel Thomas was one of the best rookie’s in the league last year after being drafted from Ohio State. As a part of New Orleans high octane offense he put up 1137 yards with 9 touchdowns. He had 92 receptions and averaged 75.8 yards per game.

After the departure of Brandin Cooks and his 117 targets, Thomas will be responsible for even more this year, and I feel like he is ready to do so.

Thomas was one of the most reliable recievers in the NFL last year, being a model of consistency, which is rare for a rookie. Thomas is considered to be a top 24 pick in most fantasy football leagues, and personally I have him in the top 12. While yes, that would be a PPR league, there is nothing not to like about Micheal Thomas this year. He will be Drew Brees number one target in one of the best offenses in the league.

I expect Thomas to have a monster season in 2017, becoming a house hold name. Below are my predicted stats for Thomas

100 Receptions

1311 Recieving yards

10 Touchdowns

These are pretty good numbers. This would be an average game of 18 points in PPR scoring. Look for Thomas to have a monster season this year.
