NFL Pre Season Power Rankings!

1. Philadelphia
2. Los Angeles Rams
3. Minnesota
4. Atlanta
5. New Orleans
These are purely the best rosters in the NFL right now hands down and they are all out of the NFC. Philly grabs number one as the Super Bowl champs but I wouldn’t argue if you wanted to give that spot to the Vikings or Rams. The Falcons could be the second-best team in the league, or the first. The offense is the deepest in the league and the defense is full of scary good athletes.
6. New England
7. Los Angeles Chargers
8. Jacksonville
9. Pittsburgh
10. Green Bay
This next tier includes the Contenders in the AFC. New England, Jacksonville, Pittsburgh, or the Chargers are all Super Bowl caliber teams and I would be shocked if one of them wasn’t the AFC’s representative to the Super Bowl. Then you have the Packers propelled by the best QB in the game right now with a much improved defense.
11. Detroit
12. Carolina
13. Houston
14. New York Giants
15. Washington
The Detroit Lions may have one of the sneakiest offenses in the league. I would not be shocked if they finish the season viewed as a top ten offense, however there lack of pass rush keeps them out of the top ten. Then you look at the Panthers as a team that are very boom or bust with some major questions in the secondary on defense. I am shocked I have the Giants this high but if Eli Manning bounces back, this team is a Super Bowl Contender. The Redskins are potentially a top ten offense if everything goes right. This is the high ceiling group.
16. Dallas
17. Kansas City
18. Seattle
19. Chicago
20. Baltimore
Each one of the teams above has a fatal flaw. For the Cowboys it’s the defense and receiving core. For Kansas City it’s lack of any form of defense outside of Eric Berry. Seattle’s going through a mini rebuild and lacks wide out depth. Chicago is unproven and Baltimore has questions at QB.
21. San Francisco
22. Arizona
23. Indianapolis
24. Tennesee
25. Denver
This is the group of questionable QB’s. If Jimmy G is a star the Niners are probably more of a middle of the road team. Can Andrew Luck lead the Colts, with legitimately no defense, to the playoffs? Will Marcus Mariota break out? Can Case Keenum be the QB the Broncos need? If all these QB’s preform to the max all five of these teams could make the playoffs.
26. Tampa Bay
27. Cincinnati
28. Cleveland
29. Oakland
30. Miami
31. New York Jets
32. Buffalo
I love Tampa and Cleveland’s roster but until I see it happen they remain near the bottom of the list. I don’t buy Jon Gruden one bit as the Raiders head coach and the AFC East outside of the Patriots is the worst in the league.
