The Los Angeles Dodgers and the Los Angeles Angels split the first two games of the Freeway Series at Angel Stadium. With the game tied at three in the bottom of the seventh, Shohei Ohtani pinch hit for Jefry Marte and he hit a solo homerun for the Angels off of J.T. Chargois.
Yasiel Puig hit a three-run homer for the Los Angeles Dodgers in the second-inning off of Andrew Heaney. Puig left the game in the fifth-inning with a strained right intercostal oblique muscle and he is most likely heading to the disabled list. Joc Pederson replaced him.
Justin Upton had a two-RBI single in the bottom of the third with two outs for the Angels. Albert Pujols hit a solo homerun in the sixth-inning for the Los Angeles Angels off of Alex Wood and the rest of the game was history.
The winning pitcher for the Los Angeles Angels was Andrew Heaney (5-6). He pitched seven innings and gave up three hits and three runs. Heaney walked three batters and struck out 10.

The Los Angeles Dodgers will start a four-game series on the road against the San Diego Padres on Monday Night. The Los Angeles Angels will start a three-game series at home against the Seattle Mariners on Tuesday Night.
The Dodgers and the Angels will meet again at Dodger Stadium this upcoming weekend before the All-Star Break.
