It looked like the Green Bay Packers were going to be in for a scare once again against the Miami Dolphins. The Dolphins fumbled on their first drive and the Packers recovered. Green Bay turned it into a 7-yard touchdown pass to Davante Adams from Aaron Rodgers. The Packers would lead the entire game and they beat the Dolphins 31-12.
With Green Bay leading 7-3 in the second-quarter, Aaron Jones scored on a 2-yard touchdown run. The Packers led 14-9 at the half. The Miami Dolphins blew opportunities to score touchdowns in the red zone.
With the Green Bay Packers leading 14-12 in the third-quarter, Aaron Jones scored on a 10-yard touchdown run. He finished with 145 yards rushing on 15 carries and two touchdowns.
They scored on a 25-yard touchdown pass from Rodgers to Adams later in the third. Davante Adams finished with four receptions for 57 yards receiving and two touchdowns. Aaron Rodgers completed 19-of-28 passes for 199 yards and two touchdowns. He also rushed for 21 yards on six carries.
Brock Osweiler completed 23-of-37 passes for 213 yards and one interception. He also had one carry for zero rushing yards. Frank Gore led the Miami Dolphins in rushing with 90 yards on 13 carries. Danny Amendola had seven receptions for 72 yards receiving for Miami.
The Miami Dolphins (5-5) will be on a bye next week. They will then go on the road and face the Indianapolis Colts (4-5) in Week 12. The Green Bay Packers (4-4-1) will travel to face the Seattle Seahawks (4-5) and play them on Thursday night.
