According to Adam Schefter of ESPN, the New England Patriots have traded away back-up QB, Jimmy Garappolo to the San Fransisco 49ers for a 2018 second round pick.

This is a great move for the 49ers as they get a good, young quarterback with lots of potential for only* a second round pick.

A good sign for New England Patriot fans, this moves shows that they are confident in the fact that Tom Brady will be on the field for years to come.

Garoppolo will be the starting QB for the 49ers as soon as they feel he is comfortable in their offense.
