Predators Step Up to Beat Devils in Overtime

The Nashville Predators were outplayed for most of the night against the New Jersey Devils on the road. Kyle Turris scored the game-winning goal with 1:25 remaining in overtime to lift the Predators to a 4-3 win over the Devils.

Damon Severson scored 2:58 into the game for New Jersey. Yannick Webber tied the game for Nashville with 5:20 remaining in the first-period for the Predators. Nico Hischier scored a power-play goal for the New Jersey Devils with 59 seconds remaining in the first-period.

Viktor Arvidsson tied the game for the Nashville Predators with 6:54 remaining in the second-period.  Nico Hischier scored 40 seconds later for the Devils.

After a huge save by Juuse Saros on Blake Coleman when New Jersey was shorthanded, Filip Forsberg tied the game on the power play with 6:20 remaining in regulation for Nashville .

Juuse Saros made 33 saves for the Nashville Predators. Keith Kinkaid made 32 saves for the New Jersey Devils.

These two teams will play each other one more time this season. The Nashville Predators will host the Edmonton Oilers on Saturday night. The New Jersey Devils will host the Florida Panthers on Saturday afternoon.
