PSF Fantasy Rankings: The First Official Running Back Rankings.

As the Fantasy season gets closer by the day, here are my top fantasy running backs. This assumes a ppr league as all my rankings will. I will put explanations by certain running backs that may seem low or high, let’s begin.
1. Todd Gurley: Gurley appears at the top of this list simply because I see no reason for drop off whatsoever. The line is still intact, and the Rams have added Brandin Cooks to stretch the defense. Gurley will see less stacked boxes because I believe this offense will throw the ball deep more in 2018.
2. Ezekiel Elliott: Elliot sits at two for one reason, fresh legs. Most of last year Elliot didn’t play or play to the standard he did his rookie year. The Cowboys are going back to a run first attack this year and Elliot will provide a significant target for Dak after the loss of Dez Bryant and Jason Witten.
3. Leveon Bell: Bells contract is still an issue and if he boycotts training camp and the preseason as he has done in recent years history shows he will start slow for the first four weeks. Averaging just 60 yards total a game in his first three games last year. I believe that three game stretch can make or break a fantasy year.
4. Alvin Kamara: I was tempted to put Kamara over Bell honestly just because he will see a major workload for the first four games of the season against Tampa and Cleveland some massively bad defenses.
5. David Johnson
6. Kareem Hunt
7. Leonard Fournette: Fournette will be a massive part of the Jaguars offense once again. This years running back class gets thin after 14 guys, so I think Fournette is a no doubt first round pick if you have picks 8-10 in your leauge.
8. Saquon Barkley
9. Melvin Gordon
10. Jordan Howard
11. Lesean McCoy
12. Dalvin Cook: Cook is a risky take, but assuming he stays healthy and plays as well as he did last year to begin the season he could be close to the top of this list next year.
13. Devante Freeman
14. Jerrick McKinnon
15. Mark Ingram
16. Christian McCaffery: McCaffery is a dream in PPR leagues he didn’t run between tacklers well last year but was one of Cam Newtons favorite targets. Expect him to get less running yardage though as CJ Anderson Mmght see significant snaps this year.
17. Derrick Henry
18. Alex Collins
19. Joe Mixon: The Bengals built the offensive line this offseason adding Cordy Glenn and rookie Billy Price. This is going to be a run first offense in 2018 and Mixon may have his break out year with little to no competition in the backfield.
