Red Wings Top Blues

The Detroit Red Wings surrendered a three-goal lead at home against the St. Louis Blues, but Tyler Bertuzzi scored the game-winning goal for Detroit with 6:53 remaining in regulation to lift them to a 4-3 victory over St. Louis.

Thomas Vanek, Andreas Anthanasiou, and Tyler Bertuzzi scored goals for the Red Wings in the second-period. David Perron and Vladimir Tarasenko scored power play goals for the Blues in the second-period.

David Perron tied the game at three for the St. Louis Blues 8:04 into the third-period.

The defense wasn’t very good in this game for both teams. Jake Allen made 27 saves for St. Louis. Jimmy Howard made 33 saves for Detroit.

These two teams will play each other one more time this season. The next game for the St. Louis Blues is against the Colorado Avalanche on the road on Friday night. The next game for the Detroit Red Wings is against the Boston Bruins on the road on Saturday night.
