Sanheim Power-Play Goal Lifts Flyers in Overtime

Philadelphia Flyers defenseman Travis Sanheim scored the game-winning power-play goal with 2:04 remaining in overtime as Philadelphia took down the Boston Bruins on the road 3-2. The Flyers have won three consecutive games.

David Pastrnak scored a power-play goal for Boston 3:05 into the game. Claude Giroux tied the game at one for Philadelphia with 44 seconds remaining in the first-period.

Pastrnak scored his second goal of the game 5:11 into the second-period. He now has 30 goals on the year. Oskar Lindblom tied the game on the power play for the Philadelphia Flyers at two in the third-period with 9:24 remaining in regulation.

Carter Hart made 23 saves for Philadelphia. Tuukka Rask made 38 saves for Boston. The Philadelphia Flyers won two-out-of-three games against the Boston Bruins in the regular season series. It is highly unlikely these two teams will meet again this season.

The Philadelphia Flyers next game will be at home on Saturday afternoon against the Edmonton Oilers. The Boston Bruins next game will be on the road on Sunday afternoon against the Washington Capitals.
