Will LeGarrette Blount make a difference: Blount had a decent year in New England last year. People keep counting him out though. I do not behind an offensive line that is ranked the best in the league by Pro football focus, I believe Blount can have a big year and take pressure off second year QB Carson Wentz.
Will Carson Wentz take the next step: Wentz had two separate years last year his first half was spectacular and his second half was pedestrian. Throughout the year you could see his mechanics begin to devolve. Wentz release wasn’t smooth or controlled it was choppy and mechanical like. That paired with the fact he had no all-star receivers to throw the ball to made for an unsteady year for the rookie. This year however the Eagles have added Alshon Jeffery the former bears star. With Jeffery in the mix it gives Wentz a big target to throw to and a chance to make a leap as a starting QB this year.
Will the Eagles receiving Core fix there appalling drops problem: The numbers speak for themselves, 24 drops last year ranked the eagles in the top ten of drops in the league. The Eagles receiving core has to step up if they want to be a threat in this division.
How good is this Eagles defense: Time will tell but they bolstered decent stats last year. Ryan Baker and Malcom Jenkins make this defense really fun to watch. If the eagles defense can put up big numbers and Wentz and the receivers gel the Eagles could be the dark horse to win the division.
