Before Super Bowl LIII began, I had a possible feeling it was going to be a snooze fest. It most certainly was when the New England Patriots took down the Los Angeles Rams 13-3. Because of this, NFL ratings dropped drastically for the Super Bowl. Ratings were down 5.2 percent this season and ratings were down three percent for the Super Bowl last season.

With the ratings dropping for the second consecutive season, this is what the NFL deserves. They deserve it because the Los Angeles Rams should not have been in the Super Bowl in the first place. Had the officials called that ending correctly, the New Orleans Saints would have been in the Super Bowl.

The New Orleans area had a record low rating for the Super Bowl and who can honestly blame them. What is going to happen if ratings continue to decline in the Super Bowl? Would owners finally make a change at NFL Commissioner?
