The Official Pro Sports Fandom Midseason MLB Team of the Year

We are officially underway in the second half of the 2017 MLB season. And that means we can recap what a tremendous first half of the season we saw this year. A few of the writers here at Pro Sports Fandom came together and voted a Midseason MLB Team of the Year complete with players from every position. The player with the most votes was deemed as the Midseason player of the year at that respective position. 

The format for the team is simple, there are 4 starting pitchers, 8 starting position players, 1 designated hitter, 3 bench position players, and 5 bullpen pitchers. Now let’s jump right in to see the options for positions and who won the vote!

Starting Pitchers:

The Ace: Dodgers SP Clayton Kershaw    (6 votes)

15-2 with a 2.07 ERA.

Red Sox SP Chris Sale (6 votes)

11-4 with a 2.59 ERA.

Nationals SP Max Scherzer (6 votes)
