Thunder Top Rockets in Primetime Showdown

The Houston Rockets had nothing much to play for on Saturday Night at home when they already have the number one seed in the west locked up. The Oklahoma City Thunder were trying to pick up a big win on the road to get one step closer to the postseason. Oklahoma City defeated Houston 108-102.

Russell Westbrook scored 24 points grabbed seven rebounds and recorded 10 assists for the Thunder. Paul George also scored 24 points for Oklahoma City and he grabbed six rebounds. Carmelo Anthony scored 22 points and grabbed six rebounds and he shot 50% from the field.

Steven Adams scored 12 points and grabbed eight rebounds. Jerami Grant scored 12 points off the bench for the Thunder.

James Harden scored 26 points and had nine assists for the Rockets. Chris Paul scored 17 points and had nine assists for Houston. PJ Tucker recorded a double-double with 16 points and 10 rebounds. Clint Capela scored 10 points and grabbed seven rebounds for Houston.

This was a big win for the Thunder and they only need one more win to clinch a playoff spot. Oklahoma City outscored Houston by seven points in the second half. The Oklahoma City Thunder won the season series 2-1 and these two teams could meet again in the playoffs.
