Thunder Top Timberwolves

Whenever the Oklahoma City Thunder play, Russell Westbrook is a player fans must watch. Once again, he recorded a triple-double with 27 points, 10 rebounds, 15 assists, and one steal in a 132-126 win on the road against the Minnesota Timberwolves.

Oklahoma City remains in the seventh spot in the west with a 47-33 record. The Los Angeles Clippers are currently in the sixth spot with the same exact record. Both of those teams have a half game lead over the San Antonio Spurs.

Paul George scored 27 points on 36.4 percent from the field. He also grabbed seven rebounds, recorded six assists, and recorded three steals. Jerami Grant scored 15 points, grabbed five rebounds, and blocked two shots.

Terrance Ferguson scored 11 points, grabbed four rebounds, and recorded two assists for the Thunder. Their bench scored 44 points. Dennis Schroder scored 21 points, grabbed two rebounds, recorded one assist, and recorded one steal. Markieff Morris scored 14 points and grabbed six rebounds.

Oklahoma City’s biggest lead was 14 points and Minnesota’s biggest lead was 10 points in the game.

Karl-Anthony Towns led the Timberwolves in scoring with 35 points. He also grabbed seven rebounds, recorded two assists, blocked one shot, and recorded two steals. Andrew Wiggins scored 24 points on 60 percent shooting. He also grabbed five rebounds, recorded four assists, and recorded two steals.

Dario Saric scored 23 points, grabbed three rebounds, recorded one assist, and blocked one shot. Tyus Jones scored 10 points, grabbed five rebounds, and recorded 13 assists.

Minnesota’s bench scored 26 points. Gorgui Dieng scored 10 points on 50 percent shooting. He also grabbed four rebounds and recorded two assists.

The Minnesota Timberwolves won the season series against the Oklahoma City Thunder 3-1. Oklahoma City’s next game will be against the Houston Rockets at home on Tuesday night. Minnesota’s next game will be at home against the Toronto Raptors on Tuesday night.
