Thunder Top Trail Blazers in Overtime

Al-Farouq Aminu tied the game at 113 for the Portland Trail Blazers with 2.9 seconds remaining in regulation. Russell Westbrook turned the ball over with 1.9 seconds remaining in regulation for the Oklahoma City Thunder. Damian Lillard missed the potential game-winning three at the end of regulation.

Paul George and Westbook came through in the overtime session for Oklahoma City as they topped Portland 129-121 in overtime.

Russell Westbrook scored 37 points on 50 percent shooting. He also grabbed seven rebounds and recorded three assists, but Westbrook turned the ball over eight times. George scored 32 points on 30.4 percent shooting from the field. He also grabbed 14 rebounds, recorded six assists, and recorded three steals.

Jerami Grant scored 14 points, grabbed six rebounds, blocked one shot, and recorded one steal. Steven Adams scored 12 points, grabbed seven rebounds, blocked two shots and recorded two steals.

Oklahoma City scored 28 bench points and Dennis Schroder scored 14 of them. He grabbed four rebounds and recorded four assists.

Damian Lillard led the way for the Trail Blazers with 51 points on 53.6 percent shooting. He also grabbed five rebounds, recorded nine assists, blocked two shots, and recorded one steal.

C.J. McCollum scored 25 points on 37.5 shooting. He also grabbed five rebounds, blocked one shot, and recorded one steal. Jusuf Nurkic recorded another double-double with 13 points, 17 rebounds, three assists, one block, and two steals.

Portland scored 21 bench points and Rodney Hood scored 10 of them. He also grabbed two rebounds, recorded one assist, and recorded one steal.

The Thunder’s biggest lead was eight points. The Trail Blazers biggest lead was six points. Oklahoma City remains the fourth seed in the west at the moment and Portland remains the fifth seed in the west at the moment.

The Oklahoma City Thunder swept the season series against the Portland Trail Blazers 4-0. Oklahoma City’s next game will be on the road against the Los Angeles Clippers on Friday night. Portland’s next game will be at home against the Phoenix Suns on Saturday night.
