This offseason brought so many exciting new teams and rosters around the league, here’s what I have ranked record wise for the next NBA season.
10. New Orleans Pelicans (44-38)
The Pelicans are one of the teams this year that can improve there record so much from what they accomplished last season. In the second half of the season, they added all star center, Demarcus Cousins. Now the Pelicans have the best frontcourt in the league in Boogie and AD. The Pelicans also made a good move this offseason by getting veteran pong guard, Rajon Rondo. Rondo can fit in so well with both of the talented big man because he’s such a gifted passer and can make both of them better. The Pelicans also have Jrue Holiday at the 2 guard who can hit some threes for them. The Pelicans biggest flaw is their bench and held them back a lot last year. The Pelicans had an atrocious season last season but they are so young and have room to grow and AD and Boogie should work better this season having more time to play this season and probably lead them into the playoffs this season.
9. Toronto Raptors:(46-36)
I got the Raptors at the 9th best team in the league because of their very talented frontcourt, their young players on the team, and their good defensive players. DeRozan and Lowry have been one of the better duos in the league for the past three years leading their team to the playoffs. The Raptors also have some solid young players such as Powell, Delon Wright, and Jonas Valanciunas. They have some good defensive players in Serge “Iblocka” and Powell as well. This team has been consistently good in the regular season the past few years so this is why I still have them in the top 10 going into the season.
