Tristan Beckmann’s Ultimate MLB Playoff Preview: Predictions, Analysis, and more

New York Yankees vs. Atlanta Braves

This was my World Series pick at mid season and I’ve seen nothing in the last few months that has been enough to change my mind. I think this would be one of the most exciting World Series to watch in recent years as the two teams of the future battle it out for the pennant. The Yankees and Braves have so much tremendous young talent that it won’t be the last time they make it onto this stage.

Freddie Freeman will look to abuse the right field short porch at Yankee Stadium while Aaron Judge and company will have the same mindset. I think that the Yankees are more championship-ready at this point and are a bit more talented all-around. They have one of the best bullpens in the big leagues and that will prove to be a tough matchup for the Braves, especially considering the fact that Atlanta’s bullpen has a ton of questions surrounding it. It will not be a series in which offense is lacking, but the Yankees have just enough pitching that I think can push them to the top.

Yes, I’m a Yankees fan, you may think this is biased. But I’ve watched baseball all year, and I know that this ball club is more than capable of going on a run and winning it all. They are supremely talented and will cap it all off with the franchise’s 28th World Series championship when it’s all said and done.

The New York Yankees defeat the Atlanta Braves in the World Series, 4-1.
