Vic Fangio Hired as Denver Broncos Head Coach

The Denver Broncos decided to hire Chicago Bears Defensive Coordinator Vic Fangio to become the new Denver head coach. He has served as Chicago’s coordinator from 2015-2018. They had one of the best defenses in the NFL this past season.

Fangio has been in the NFL since 1986 and he hasn’t been a head coach once in his career. Vic Fangio will finally have a chance to prove what he can do as a leader of a team.

Fangio will have some great defensive pieces to work with in Denver like Von Miller, Bradley Chubb, Bradley Roby, Chris Harris Jr., and much more. The Broncos defense has never been an issue though. The offense has been a concern ever since Peyton Manning retired after they won Super Bowl L.

Gary Kubiak will become the team’s offensive coordinator. He was the head coach of the Denver Broncos when they won the Super Bowl. Kubiak retired the following season because of health problems.

This was a good move for the Denver Broncos because of how tough the AFC West is. Fangio will provide discipline for this football team. Vance Joseph didn’t do a very good job of that with the Broncos the past two years.
