The Texas Rangers have moved their top trade piece to the Dodgers
The Basics: Yu Darvish has posted a decent 4.01 ERA ( this spiked up after his last performance) in 137.0 innings of work is far this year. Darvish has also struck-out 148 batters and accumulated a efficient WHIP of 1.168. Darvish is slated to become a free agent at the end of this season.
How Darvish Can Help: Darvish will be another huge piece in the Dodgers starting rotation. With this acquisition the Dodgers have Kershaw, Wood, and Darvish. In my opinion this team has to be a heavy favorite to win the World Series.
The return: Willie Calhoun is headed to Texas in this trade. Calhoun has posted a .298 batting average in 373 at bats this year. According to Baseball America, he is listed at the Dodgers number five prospect.
